Effective January 1, 2012, my standard billing rates are between $ 75.00 per hour and $ 135.00 per hour depending upon the complexity and scope of the assignment. Fixed fee arrangements are available upon request. Fixed fees usually involve well-defined milestones or deliverables that you need. Contingency fees which are based on results produced are available for value analysis related services. For more information, see Value Based Fee Arrangement.

Educational Events

Fixed fees are available for educational workshops. Fixed fees cover all up front course development work and course materials. Additional expenses may be required to cover travel and lodging, depending upon your location in relation to Washington D.C. All expenses are billed at cost.

I welcome the opportunity to speak at conventions and other events; however I do ask that you provide at least 30 days advance notice and if possible, reimburse me for my travel costs if the location is outside the United States.

Midas Nation - Mentoring programs for private business ownes. Aimed at improving the value of the business. Includes core programs through Value Architects and selected universities.

Short Term Assignments

Assignments of short duration, such as a few weeks, can be billed on an hourly or daily basis. These types of assignments typically include:

• Competitive Profiles and Evaluations
• Capital Investment Analysis

Long Term Engagements

Long Term Arrangements are usually required for certain types of projects, such as:

• Developing performance management practices and reporting systems
• Strategic cost management - reducing non-value added activities and creating leaner processes
• Strategic gap analysis and integrating operating plans across the organization
• Pre-Merger Analysis - Synergy value investigations

Lump sum fixed fee contracts can be arranged for these types of engagements.

Piece Meal Engagements

I also welcome the opportunity to work on pieces of long-term engagements. This usually helps jump start major projects and gets your team moving down the right path. These types of engagements often include:

• Cost Benefit Model for Portfolio Management
• Developing the right mix of Key Performance Indicators
