Accreditation

The Excellence in Financial Management Program is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. The National Registry ID for this program is 111759. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding the registered sponsor may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.

Some of the standards associated with NASBA include: 1) Establishing credit hours through an independent pilot process; 2) Maintaining participant records for at least five years; 3) Adequately describing the course objective, course level, course pre-requisites, and delivery methods involved; 4) Allowing participants to submit complaints and requests for refunds; and 5) Collecting evaluations to improve the course offerings.

• Program Content Development - Description of the process followed in developing the content that comprises the courses offered.
• Test Pilot with Four Certified Public Accountants - CPA Reviewer 1 | CPA Reviewer 2 | CPA Reviewer 3 | CPA Reviewer 4 |
• Technical Quality Review - Have an independent Certified Public Accountant who has in-depth knowledge with accreditation review all documents involved including courses, exams, certificates, and objectives. This technical review is performed against all courses posted within the program by L. Keith Jordan, CPA.
• Instructor's Background - A quick bio of the person who wrote and developed the courses within the program.
• Administrative Policy - Brief summary of important policies of the program.
